We were pleased to be appointed to provide a new dwelling on this wonderful site near Burton Bradstock. The existing timber framed bungalow was well hidden and beyond economic repair. The sloping site and amazing views gave us the opportunity to use the levels and create a new “upside down” house, with open plan living accommodation at the first floor level, with level access. Planning was challenging due to the visual impact and a Landscape Architect was also appointed to assist.
The combination of natural stone and timber cladding with aluminium windows gives a modern appearance to the property, which we feel has worked well in this setting.
